This 7-day Xi'an autumn study tour invites international students to explore the starting point of the ancient Silk Road in the harvest season. Golden farmland, mild autumn weather and ancient ruins create a perfect environment for learning. Students study Terracotta Army, ancient city wall, Shaanxi History Museum and local rural harvest culture, connecting ancient trade history with traditional Chinese agricultural civilisation.

Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an & Autumn Silk Road Camp Opening Airport arrival, hotel check-in. Opening briefing introduces Chang'an's role on the Silk Road, autumn harvest culture and learning objectives. Hand out history research notebooks and introduce local food customs of autumn.
Day 2: Terracotta Army & Qin Dynasty Archaeological Study Full-day visit to the Terracotta Army Museum. Professional English guide explains Qin dynasty military system, sculpture art and archaeological discovery. Students analyse how ancient craftsmen created this masterpiece and complete archaeological observation worksheets.
Day 3: Xi'an Ancient City Wall & Urban History Exploration Morning bike ride on Xi'an City Wall, enjoy panoramic autumn views of the old city. Learn about ancient city defence, urban planning and the history of Chang'an. Afternoon visit the Bell and Drum Towers and explore the Muslim quarter for autumn local snacks.
Day 4: Shaanxi History Museum & Silk Road Cultural Study In-depth museum tour focusing on Silk Road relics, trade goods and cultural communication between East and West. Students discuss how autumn harvest supported long-distance ancient trade along the Silk Road.
Day 5: Rural Autumn Harvest Field Visit Travel to nearby agricultural village. Students walk through golden harvest farmland, learn about traditional grain harvesting and drying processes. Join simple hands-on farm activities and interview farmers about autumn harvest work.
Day 6: Folk Culture Workshop & Final Report Preparation Morning shadow puppet art workshop, students make simple puppets and watch a short show. Afternoon group work to organise harvest field notes and prepare final presentation.
Day 7: Presentation, Closing & Departure Group sharing of Silk Road and harvest study results. Award certificates. Closing feedback and airport transfer.
