Day 1: Arrival in Entry City & Transfer to Huangshan
Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Shanghai/Beijing/Hangzhou Airport; private transfer to high-speed rail station.
Evening: High-speed rail to Huangshan North Station (2-3h); transfer to Tangkou Town (30 mins, base for Huangshan Scenic Area). Overnight in Tangkou.
Day 2-3: Huangshan Scenic Area
Day 2: West Sea Grand Canyon & Xihai Valley
07:30: Take cable car (Yungu Cableway) up Huangshan (15 mins); start hiking at Yungu Temple.
09:00-12:00: West Sea Grand Canyon Loop (4km, moderate difficulty) – narrow cliffside paths, surreal rock formations, "hanging ladder" section .
12:00-13:00: Lunch at Xihai Hotel cafeteria (buffet with Western options).
13:30-16:30: Visit Danxia Peak – best spot for sunset (weather permitting); walk to Paiyun Pavilion for canyon views.
17:30: Check in at mountain hotel (e.g., Xihai Hotel); dinner at hotel restaurant. Overnight on Huangshan.
Day 3: Sea of Clouds & Iconic Peaks
05:30: Optional sunrise viewing at Bright Top Peak (highest peak on Huangshan, 1,864m) – chance to see "sea of clouds" (autumn/spring best).
07:30: Breakfast at hotel; 08:30 hike to Guest-Greeting Pine (iconic Huangshan pine tree, 1km).
10:00-12:00: Visit Lotus Peak (closed alternate years for conservation) or Heavenly Capital Peak (optional: 3km round trip, strenuous, chains for climbing) .
12:00-13:00: Lunch at Bright Top Restaurant.
13:30: Take cable car down (Yuping Cableway, 15 mins); transfer to Hongcun Ancient Village (1h drive).
16:00: Check in at luxury resort in Hongcun; free time to explore village streets. Overnight in Hongcun.
Day 4: Hongcun Ancient Village

Day 5: Xidi Ancient Village & Taiping Lake
09:00: Drive to Xidi Ancient Village (30 mins) – smaller, quieter than Hongcun; visit archways, ancestral halls.
12:00: Lunch at Xidi village restaurant.
13:30: Drive to Taiping Lake (1h); boat cruise (1.5h) on the lake – karst islands, clear water, fishing villages.
16:30: Hike along lakeside trail (2km, easy); photo stops.
18:00: Return to Hongcun resort. Overnight in Hongcun.
Day 6: Return to Entry City
