13:30-16:00: Take cable car to Huangshi Village (10 mins); walk along circular trail (2km) – 360° views of stone forest.

Day 5: Fenghuang Ancient Town08:00: Drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town (3.5h); check in at boutique inn (stilted house by Tuo River).

13:30-17:00: Explore Fenghuang – walk through ancient stone streets, visit 沈从文故居 (Shen Congwen’s Former Residence), cross Hongqiao Bridge, take boat cruise on Tuo River (1h).
