This Shenzhen sister school exchange tour is ideal for schools focusing on STEM, innovation and future technology. Students shadow classes with Shenzhen local peers, collaborate on tech‑themed group projects and visit real smart city demonstration sites. We can extend this programme and combine it with our Shenzhen Smart City Future Life Science Summer Camp for a longer innovation‑focused study journey. The itinerary can be shortened or extended freely.
Tour Highlights
Day 1: Arrival in Shenzhen. Our bilingual coordinator and private driver meet the group at airport / high-speed station. Transfer to hotel, check-in and room allocation. Late afternoon safety & cultural briefing: campus etiquette, buddy communication rules, emergency contacts and schedule overview. Icebreaker games for students. Evening welcome dinner featuring Cantonese & Hakka local dishes. Overnight: Shenzhen hotel.
Day 2: Sister School Welcome Ceremony & Campus Immersion. Morning transfer to the matched Shenzhen sister school. Official welcome ceremony hosted by principal, international coordinator and student representatives. Speeches and student cultural performances from both sides. One-to-one buddy matching. Full campus tour: classrooms, science labs, maker spaces, library, sports hall and school history gallery. Shared lunch with buddies in the school canteen. Afternoon joint ice-breaking activities and poster workshop: "My School & My Hometown". Overseas teachers meet Chinese teaching team for initial introduction. Evening: students prepare presentation materials; chaperone coordination meeting. Overnight: Shenzhen hotel.
Day 3: Classroom Shadowing & Cross‑Class Cultural Sharing. Morning: students follow their Chinese buddies to shadow regular local classes (Science, Math, Art, English, PE). Overseas teachers observe lessons. Lunch with buddies in canteen. Afternoon student cultural sharing session: international students introduce their home country and school; Chinese students share Shenzhen’s innovation story. Interactive Q&A and group discussion. Late afternoon optional friendly sports match: basketball, frisbee or badminton. Evening cultural workshop: tech‑themed handcraft or circuit building. Students make small gifts for their buddies. Overnight: Shenzhen hotel.
Day 4: Teacher Academic Exchange, Joint Project Workshop & Smart City Field Study. Morning dedicated teacher exchange session. Chinese teachers deliver demo STEM lessons. Teachers discuss teaching methods, project‑based learning and global citizenship curriculum. Both sides draft plans for future online exchange and long‑term sister‑school collaboration. Working lunch with school leadership. Afternoon guided field trip to smart community demonstration zone and tech exhibition centre. Students observe IoT community management, intelligent traffic systems and green energy facilities, collect materials for group projects. Evening project rehearsal. Overnight: Shenzhen hotel.
Day 5: Final Project Presentation & Closing Ceremony, Departure. Morning back to the sister school. Mixed student teams present their joint innovation projects to principals, teachers and all students. Leaders provide feedback and comments. Farewell lunch at school. Afternoon formal closing ceremony. Issue official exchange certificates for all students and teachers. Group photo, buddy gift exchange and friendship banner signing. Farewell to Chinese buddies and teachers. Transfer to airport / high‑speed railway station for departure.
