Designed for student groups interested in biology and environmental science, this 7-day Sichuan spring study tour focuses on spring ecological renewal. Students visit giant panda bases to observe their seasonal behaviours, explore Dujiangyan's ancient irrigation system that supports spring ploughing, and take part in tree-planting volunteer activities. The program links wildlife protection, traditional farming wisdom and wetland ecology, supported by lectures from local ecological specialists.
Focus on spring ecological recovery and agricultural civilization. Students observe giant pandas' exclusive spring foraging and breeding behaviors, participate in seasonal spring planting, and understand ancient Chinese spring farming and water conservancy wisdom.
Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu & Spring Ecology Camp Opening Chengdu airport arrival and hotel check-in. Warm spring climate adaptation training. Opening briefing introduces Sichuan subtropical spring ecological characteristics, panda protection knowledge and spring agricultural culture. Distribute ecological field research notebooks.
Day 2: Chengdu Panda Base Spring Behavior Observation Morning visit Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base. Professional researchers guide students to observe pandas' spring fresh bamboo preference, outdoor activity rules and spring living habits. Record behavioral data and complete ecological observation reports. Afternoon visit panda science popularization museum.
Day 3: Dujiangyan Ancient Water Conservancy & Spring Irrigation Study Full-day Dujiangyan field study. Learn how the ancient water project regulates spring river water volume, guarantees spring ploughing irrigation and maintains ecological balance. Students understand ancient Chinese spring agricultural wisdom and sustainable water civilization.
Day 4: Panda Valley Volunteer & Spring Planting Activity Morning enter Dujiangyan Panda Valley to participate in volunteer work: sorting fresh spring bamboo, cleaning panda enclosures. Afternoon organized spring tree planting, experience ecological restoration and green environmental protection practice. Receive volunteer practice certificate.
Day 5: Chengdu Ancient Town Spring Folk Culture Visit Chengdu ancient town, experience spring flower market, seasonal folk activities and traditional Sichuan spring snacks. Learn local spring outing customs and intangible heritage handicrafts. Conduct cultural interview and communication practice.
Day 6: Agricultural Base Spring Ploughing Experience & Academic Summary Morning go to suburban ecological agriculture base to observe spring ploughing, seedling raising and seasonal crop planting.
