City: Shanghai
This STEM-focused study tour combines a ride on the Shanghai Maglev Train with a deep visit to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, perfect for international student groups interested in engineering and science. The Shanghai Maglev is the world's fastest commercial magnetic levitation train, floating above the track without wheels and reaching extremely high speeds. Our English guide will explain the basic magnetic levitation principles, the train's engineering design and how this advanced transport system works. Students experience the fast, quiet ride first-hand.
After the maglev experience, the group visits the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. The museum features interactive exhibition halls covering space, aviation, robotics, natural ecosystems and modern technology. Students can join hands-on science experiments, watch science demonstrations and explore interactive displays. Professional bilingual museum educators can lead themed sessions about physics, space exploration and sustainable technology. This activity turns abstract textbook knowledge into real, interactive science discovery.
PandaStudyTour manages all the STEM trip arrangements. We book maglev tickets and museum entry, arrange bilingual science guides, organise group transfers, and design structured learning tasks for students. We can adjust the content depth for different age groups, from middle school to university students. This programme can be integrated into your custom Shanghai study tour or school exchange itinerary, creating a high-quality modern science education experience for overseas delegations.
