City: Xian
Travel back to the golden age of the Tang Dynasty with our Tang Hanfu cultural immersion experience in Xi'an, the ancient capital Chang'an. At the costume studio, students and visitors can select authentic Tang-style Hanfu robes, dresses and accessories, including head ornaments, sashes and silk shoes. Professional stylists help participants dress up and apply simple traditional Tang makeup. After dressing, the group joins an English guide for a walking tour through Datang Everbright City, a scenic zone built to recreate the prosperous streetscape of the Tang Dynasty.
Along the way, students watch wonderful street performances, including traditional music, dance and poetry shows. They can also learn ancient Tang greeting rituals, take photos beside grand Tang-style architecture, and experience the lively night market atmosphere of ancient Chang'an. Optional add-ons include watching the grand Dream of Chang'an imperial welcoming ceremony on the city wall, or enjoying the famous outdoor live performance The Song of Everlasting Sorrow at Huaqing Palace.
PandaStudyTour organises all parts of this Tang cultural experience. We prepare a wide selection of Hanfu costumes in different sizes for children, teenagers and adults, arrange professional English guides and stylists, and design flexible walking routes according to your group's schedule. We can combine this Hanfu activity with Tang-style banquet dining to build a complete Tang-themed day trip. This immersive cultural programme can be easily added into your Xi'an study tour, Mandarin summer camp or school exchange itinerary, offering your students a memorable visual and cultural experience of China's most prosperous ancient dynasty.
