Day 1: Dapeng Peninsula Coastal Geology & Wetland Ecological Survey | Overnight in Dapeng, Shenzhen
Your first day focuses on primitive coastal geology and wetland ecosystem research. Start your study at Dapeng Peninsula National Geopark Museum to learn local volcanic rock formation and regional geological evolution knowledge. Later you head to Bagang Silver Leaf Ancient Tree Wetland to carry out on-site wetland ecology research, observe ancient coastal vegetation communities. In the afternoon you hike along East and West Yong Coast, collect rock and intertidal biological specimens to record different coastal geomorphic features for your field notebook.
