Destinations: Zhangjiajie Art & Nature
This compact 4-day short study tour is designed for school groups with limited travel time, focusing on landscape art, outdoor observation and creative expression. Instead of heavy academic geology lectures, the program encourages students to observe natural beauty, sketch peaks, learn Chinese landscape painting ideas, and experience Tujia folk art. It balances light outdoor hiking and artistic creation, perfect for art class, photography or short cultural exchange student groups.
Day1: Arrival, Dayong Ancient Town & art orientation Arrive Zhangjiajie airport, check in. Walk Dayong Ancient Town. Introduction to Tujia art and Chinese mountain painting philosophy. Students prepare sketchbooks.
Day2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Yuanjiajie & Golden Whip Brook Morning enter Wulingyuan. Visit Yuanjiajie "Hallelujah Mountains". Students sketch peak views. Hike Golden Whip Brook, capture natural details.
Day3: Tianmen Mountain + Geopark Museum + Art Workshop Morning: Tianmen Mountain sightseeing and sketching. Afternoon: Geopark museum visit, then art workshop. Students create sand paintings inspired by Zhangjiajie mountains.
Day4: Final art sharing & Departure Students display their sketches and artworks in group sharing. Transfer to airport for departure.
