1. What is the panda volunteer program like on your Chengdu study tour, and what tasks will students take part in?
+
Our official panda volunteer program cooperates with professional giant panda breeding bases. Students will join keepers to clean panda enclosures, cut fresh bamboo and prepare nutrient feed for pandas. They will also attend a special conservation lecture given by base researchers, learning about panda breeding, wild release and biodiversity protection. All activities follow strict animal protection rules, and instructors will guide students the whole time to avoid disturbing giant pandas.
2. Will we have a professional archaeology guide when visiting Sanxingdui Ruins? Are there interactive learning activities about bronze relics?
+
All our Chengdu study tour groups are assigned guides with professional archaeology background for Sanxingdui Museum. Apart from viewing iconic bronze masks and sacred trees, longer itineraries include bronze culture handcraft workshops, where students can make mini bronze relic replicas and learn the casting techniques of ancient Shu civilization, combining sightseeing with hands-on history education.
3. What traditional Sichuan cultural hands-on workshops are included in the study tour? Can students bring finished handmade works back home?
+
We arrange authentic Shu embroidery handcraft, Sichuan opera face painting, Chinese calligraphy and Sichuan cooking workshops for student groups. All raw materials and tools are covered in tour fees. Every student can keep their self-made embroidery artwork, calligraphy scrolls and handmade Sichuan snacks as unique cultural souvenirs without extra charges.
4. The local food in Chengdu is very spicy. Can you prepare non-spicy, vegetarian or Western-style meals for students with special dietary needs?
+
We collect all students' dietary requirements one month before departure. Our cooperating restaurants offer mild non-spicy Sichuan dishes, pure vegetarian meals, fruit platters and simple Western set meals as alternatives. All special meals are free of extra fees, and our tour leaders will double-check every meal daily to fit students' eating habits.
5. What costs are covered in the all-inclusive Chengdu study tour price? What expenses do students need to pay personally?
+
Our all-inclusive quotation covers round-trip local ground transportation, all scenic spot entrance tickets, daily meals, accommodation, English guide service, all handcraft activity materials, panda base volunteer fees and full travel insurance. International air tickets to China, personal souvenirs shopping, private snacks and optional independent personal activities are not included in the package price.
