Wander through this surreal landscape of vertical peaks shrouded in mist. In the afternoon, proceed to Tianzi Mountain, where you will be greeted by vast, breathtaking panoramic views of the sea of peaks, including famous spots like Imperial Brush Peak (Yubi Feng). The day is spent at a leisurely pace, allowing plenty of time for photography and contemplation. Return to your hotel in Wulingyuan for the night.

Day 3 Tianmen Mountain – Zhangjiajie City

Day 4 Zhangjiajie – Furong Town (Hibiscus Town)

After breakfast, depart by private vehicle for Furong Town (formerly Wangcun), a journey of approximately 2 hours. This 2,000-year-old town is famously known as the "Ancient Town Hanging on a Waterfall". Spend your afternoon exploring its historic stone-paved streets, admiring the distinctive Tujia stilted houses (diaojiaolou), and witnessing the magnificent waterfall that dramatically flows right through the town center. Savor the local specialty, rice tofu, as you explore. The evening brings the town to life with stunning illuminated night views of the waterfall and ancient buildings. Overnight in a charming traditional stilted house inn within the town.

Your cultural immersion begins immediately with the traditional Door-Blocking Wine (Lanmen Jiu) ceremony, a warm and festive welcome by the Miao people. The afternoon is filled with rich experiences: watching captivating Miao song and dance performances, joining a vibrant Long Table Banquet (Changlong Yan) with the villagers, and exploring the village's ancient stilted buildings.
