Day 1: Shanhaiguan & Laolongtou (Qinhuangdao, Hebei)

08:00–09:00 Visit Shanhaiguan (No.1 Pass Under Heaven)

• Climb the iconic gate tower to feel the majestic power of "the unparalleled key to two capitals, the first pass of the Ten-Thousand-Li Great Wall".
• Visit the Ministry of War Headquarters and Bell & Drum Tower to learn about the Ming Dynasty's military system.

10:30–12:00 Explore Laolongtou (Great Wall into the Sea)

• Stroll the stone city where the Great Wall plunges into the ocean and witness the meeting of wall and waves.
• Visit Chenghai Tower and Longwu Barracks to experience the ancient coastal defense fortress.
• Take a speedboat on the sea for a panoramic view of the Great Wall like a dragon diving into the water.

12:00–13:30 Lunch in Shanhaiguan Ancient City

14:00–16:30 Meng Jiangnu Temple & Jiao Mountain Great Wall

• Visit Meng Jiangnu Temple and listen to the timeless legend of Meng Jiangnu weeping over the Great Wall.

Strong sea winds at Laolongtou: wear sun protection in summer and windproof layers in winter.
Jiumenkou has many steps; wear comfortable non-slip shoes, and be careful on wet sections near the water.
Stay on marked paths; follow guide instructions for safety in steep and tunnel areas.
Prepare water and small snacks as few shops are available along remote Great Wall section
