City: Hangzhou
Liangzhu Archaeological Site is a world-famous UNESCO site that provides solid evidence for China's 5,000 years of continuous civilisation. For adult visitors, the guided museum tour showcases exquisite jade cong, jade bi and other ritual artefacts crafted more than 5,000 years ago. Visitors learn the social structure, religious beliefs and advanced handicraft technology of the ancient Liangzhu kingdom, and walk through the ruins of ancient city walls and water conservancy systems.

For overseas student groups, this becomes a wonderful hands-on archaeology programme. Students join simulated field excavation activities: carefully sift soil, dig out replica pottery and jade fragments, then piece together broken relics and practice basic pottery restoration. Bilingual archaeology tutors explain archaeological methods, relic dating and the importance of cultural heritage protection. Students study the design and symbolic meaning of Liangzhu jadeware, and discuss how the Liangzhu society built a sophisticated ancient state.
PandaStudyTour pre-books group reservations, arranges professional bilingual archaeology educators and provides excavation simulation kits. This heritage experience can be adapted for casual cultural visits or deep academic archaeological study.
