City: Hangzhou
This experience combines Zhejiang University's world-class academic culture and Hangzhou's modern digital innovation, showing the integration of high-level research and China's booming digital economy. Adult visitors can enjoy guided campus sightseeing at Zhejiang University, one of China's prestigious C9 League universities founded in 1897. They walk through tree-lined campus grounds, visit the university history museum, learn about ZJU's long academic legacy, strong disciplines in engineering, computer science, agriculture and business, and understand how ZJU fosters innovation and talent development. The tour also includes a visit to Alibaba Xixi Park, to learn about the rise of China's e-commerce industry, digital business models and how academic research transfers into real commercial applications.
For overseas student delegations, the core value lies in cross-cultural student forums and in-depth digital economy study. Students meet and communicate face-to-face with local ZJU students, sharing campus life, academic interests, hobbies and learning experiences. The digital economy session explores Alibaba's e-commerce ecosystem, cross-border trade, new retail and cloud computing models. Students also visit AI robot exhibition halls to watch interactive robot demonstrations and take part in simple AI technology experiments, exploring the application of artificial intelligence in modern industry and daily life. This tour creates a direct connection between university research and industrial digital transformation.
PandaStudyTour applies for campus access to Zhejiang University well in advance, arranges local student hosts and bilingual tech guides. This programme is ideal for youth exchange groups, STEM study tours and adult business education visits.
