Yangshuo's countryside is a pastoral landscape dotted with karst peaks, rice paddies, bamboo forests and quiet farming villages. This guided cycling tour lets international groups ride along flat country lanes away from crowded scenic spots, and observe the ecological balance between mountains, rivers, farmland and villages.
Our English cycling guide leads the group past rice fields, bamboo groves and fish ponds. Along the route, we stop at rural farmhouses to study local crop planting, water irrigation systems and eco-friendly farming methods. Students can observe rural wildlife, take field photos of karst village landscapes, and complete an ecology observation worksheet. We also make a short stop at a tea plantation to learn about southern Chinese tea picking and tea processing techniques. The cycling route is carefully selected to be flat and safe, suitable for all age groups.
