Under professional guidance, you will observe giant pandas' feeding, playing and daily behavioral habits at close range. You will learn about the design concept of panda enclosure enrichment, and understand the living security system for captive giant pandas. You will also have the opportunity to observe panda cubs and record the behavioral characteristics of young giant pandas. After dining at the zoo's supporting restaurant at noon, you will visit the Yangtze River aquatic museum and wetland ecological area in the afternoon. You will systematically learn about the living habits and protection status of rare endemic species such as Chinese sturgeon and sucker fish, and deeply discuss the ecological crisis and protection measures of the Yangtze River basin, sorting out the protection logic of endangered aquatic species.
Day 3 Yongchuan Panda Base | Panda Breeding Research & Wetland Biodiversity Practice
Take a comfortable coach to Yongchuan Panda Conservation Base in the morning, which is an important scientific research and breeding base for giant pandas in southwest China. You will visit the professional breeding center, scientific research laboratory and wild training area, learn about artificial breeding technology, juvenile taming training and wild adaptation projects of giant pandas. You will also understand the progress and achievements of Sino-foreign joint panda protection and scientific research projects. In the afternoon, you will go to the wetland protection reserve to carry out field ecological practice.
