Day 1: Huangshan Mountain Exploration & Sunset on Bright Summit

Today's Highlights: Visit classic peaks and grand canyons, ride the popular sightseeing train and admire the fantastic mountain sunset.

Start your trip by taking the Cloud Valley Cableway up to Huangshan Scenic Area. First reach Beginning to Believe Peak, a famous spot for viewing clustered ancient pines. Then stroll through the North Sea Scenic Area, where unique rock shapes and dense forests create picturesque natural views. Continue to the West Sea Grand Canyon and take the sightseeing train to enjoy the magnificent cliff landscapes from a special perspective. After getting off the train, walk leisurely towards Bright Summit, the main peak of Huangshan. Stay here to watch the gorgeous sunset over the rolling mountains and sea of clouds. Check into a hotel on the mountain top for the night.

Optional Activity: Try local mountain farmhouse dishes and characteristic wild vegetable meals at the mountain hotel.

Tips: The sightseeing train is crowded between 14:00 and 16:00, please book tickets in advance. The temperature drops sharply after sunset on the mountain, so prepare warm clothes.

Day 2: Sunrise & Iconic Pine & Tunxi Old Street Leisure Tour

Today's Highlights: Watch the stunning mountain sunrise, check in the iconic Guest-Greeting Pine, then wander ancient streets and experience local customs.

Get up early to arrive at Bright Summit and wait for the spectacular sunrise. Watch the sun rise above the mountain ridges and dye the sea of clouds golden. After enjoying the sunrise, continue your tour and head for Jade Screen Tower to visit the world-famous Guest-Greeting Pine. Afterwards, take the Jade Screen Cableway down the mountain. In the afternoon, drive to downtown Huangshan and wander along Tunxi Old Street. Admire traditional Hui-style architecture, visit time-honored shops, and taste classic Huizhou snacks such as stinky mandarin fish and hairy tofu. You can also take a casual walk in Liyang Alley to enjoy the quiet night view of the ancient block.
