Day 1: Huangshan Mountain Tour & Sunset at Bright Summit

Today's Highlights: Explore classic peaks and grand canyons, take the sightseeing train and enjoy the romantic mountain sunset.

Start your journey by taking the Cloud Valley Cableway to ascend Huangshan Mountain. First arrive at Beginning to Believe Peak, a famous viewing spot for clustered ancient pines. Then stroll around the North Sea Scenic Area, where grotesque rocks and dense forests create vivid natural scenes. Move forward to the West Sea Grand Canyon, and take the popular sightseeing train to overlook the steep cliffs and deep valleys from a unique perspective. After the canyon visit, walk leisurely towards Bright Summit. As dusk falls, stay here to watch the gorgeous sunset dyed by the setting sun, together with the boundless sea of clouds. Check into a mountain-top hotel for overnight stay.

Optional Activity: Taste local wild vegetable dishes and farmhouse specialties in the mountain hotel restaurant.

Tips: The sightseeing train is crowded between 14:00 and 16:00, so book tickets in advance. The temperature drops quickly after sunset on the mountain, please prepare warm outerwear.

Day 2: Sunrise & Iconic Pine & Transfer to Hongcun Village

Today's Highlights: Watch stunning alpine sunrise, visit the symbolic Guest-Greeting Pine, then travel to Hongcun and experience the ancient village night view.

Get up early and head to Bright Summit to wait for the sunrise. Witness the sun rising slowly over the layered mountain ranges, lighting up the whole sea of clouds. After enjoying the sunrise, continue your tour to Jade Screen Tower to visit the world-famous Guest-Greeting Pine, the symbol of Huangshan Mountain. Later, take the Jade Screen Cableway down the mountain. After a short rest, drive to Hongcun Village. Upon arrival, wander along the stone lanes, appreciate the elegant Hui-style architecture, and feel the quiet atmosphere of the ancient village. When night comes, enjoy the soft night scenery of Hongcun. Check into a characteristic homestay inside or near the village.

Optional Activity: Taste authentic Huizhou local dishes in Hongcun, including braised pork and local farmhouse soup.

Tips: Arrive at the sunrise viewing platform 30 minutes in advance for a good position. Wear non-slip hiking shoes on mountain trails. The driving time from Huangshan scenic area to Hongcun is around 50 minutes, take a break on the way.

Day 3: Hongcun Village In-depth Tour & Departure

Today's Highlights: Enjoy the fairy-tale morning scenery of the village, visit famous ancient buildings and finish the journey pleasantly.

Get up early to explore Hongcun in the early morning, which is the most beautiful time of the village. Walk around Moon Pond and South Lake, watch ancient houses and arch bridges reflect on the calm water, just like a traditional Chinese ink painting. Then visit Chengzhi Hall, the most magnificent ancient residence in Hongcun, and learn about the exquisite Hui-style brick, wood and stone carvings as well as the stories of ancient Huizhou families. After a full exploration of the village, you can stroll around local craft shops and taste traditional snacks. Afterwards, arrange your return trip according to your travel schedule.

Tips: The period from 6:30 to 8:00 in the morning has fewer tourists and soft light, perfect for taking photos. The stone roads in the village are slippery when wet, please walk carefully.
