2011 Xi'an Action Summer Camp
Step onto the stage of Chinese history and experience the vastness of Chinese culture
Children from Hong Kong attended a special camp at Xi'an International Studies University to learn Mandarin and explore Chinese history and culture. Over the course of just 15 days, campers visited the "Ancient-Style Street" to experience daily life in ancient times firsthand, climbed Mount Hua's North Peak to "wield swords", and explored the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, embarking on a cultural journey through the Golden Age of the Tang Dynasty. They also created one-of-a-kind works by hand—crafting Terracotta Warriors, making dumplings, learning imperial tie-dyeing, creating lanterns, and painting Huxian peasant-style paintings.
