Day 1 Arrive in Lhasa · Plateau Acclimatization
Meet your driver at Lhasa Gonggar Airport and transfer to your hotel. Take the day to rest gently and adapt to the altitude, preparing for the low-altitude paradise ahead.
Day 2 Lhasa → Lalin Highway → Basongcuo → Nyingchi
Drive via the scenic Lalin Highway to Basongcuo, a beautiful emerald lake with a holy island in the center. Visit Jiebacun Village for authentic Tibetan countryside views, then continue to Nyingchi.
Day 3 Nyingchi → North Bank of Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon → Suosong Village
Explore the north bank of Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon with peaceful canyon paths. Stay at Suosong Village, the top spot to view Namcha Barwa, waiting for the stunning golden sunset on the snow peak.
Day 4 Suosong Village → Lulang Forest → Lulang Town
Walk through the vast Lulang Forest, known as "Oriental Switzerland", with dense woods and peaceful pastures. Stay in Lulang Town, taste famous local stone-pot chicken, and enjoy relaxing forest walks.
Day 5 Lulang → Bomi → Ranwu Lake → Laigu Glacier
Travel to Ranwu Lake, a bright alpine lake surrounded by snow mountains. Visit Laigu Glacier for incredible blue ice views, pure glacial landforms and picture-perfect lake-and-peak scenery.
Day 6 Ranwu Lake → Bomi → Nyingchi
Drive back from Ranwu Lake via Bomi, enjoying the changing plateau scenery along the way: forests, canyons, rivers and Tibetan villages. Arrive in Nyingchi in the evening.
Day 7 Nyingchi → Lhasa · Departure
Return to Lhasa via the beautiful Lalin Highway. According to your flight schedule, transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport. The wonderful Switzerland-style plateau tour ends.
