Day1-Day3 Lhasa · Altitude Acclimatization & Cultural Exploration

D1: Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, meet your driver and transfer to the downtown hotel. Rest gently to adapt to the altitude, no intense activities.
D2: Visit the magnificent Potala Palace, the iconic symbol of Xizang (Tibet); in the afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple, the most sacred monastery in Xizang (Tibet), and walk around Barkhor Street to experience the local religious life and Tibetan customs.
D3: Watch the lively monk debate at Sera Monastery in the morning, feel the strong religious atmosphere; the rest of the day is free for rest and further altitude adaptation, preparing for the upcoming Ali journey.

Day4 Lhasa → Yamdrok Lake → Karola Glacier → Shigatse

Drive from Lhasa to Yamdrok Lake, one of the three great sacred lakes in Xizang (Tibet), admiring its turquoise blue waters like a sapphire inlaid on the plateau. Continue to Karola Glacier, enjoy the panoramic view of the glacier, and feel the grandeur of the snow and ice world. In the evening, arrive in Shigatse and check in to the hotel for rest.

Day5 Shigatse → Tashilhunpo Monastery → Lazi

Morning: Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the largest monastery in western Xizang (Tibet) and the seat of the Panchen Lama, admire its grand architecture, sacred Buddha statues and rich religious heritage.
Afternoon: Drive to Lazi County, a quiet border town, and experience the unique border customs; stay overnight in Lazi.

Day6 Lazi → Peiku Co → Saga

Drive from Lazi to Peiku Co, where you can see the beautiful reflection of Shishapangma Peak in the lake, with vast wilderness grasslands around. Enjoy the primitive and quiet plateau scenery along the way, and arrive in Saga County in the evening for accommodation and rest.

Day7 Saga → Manasarovar Lake → Kailash

Drive to Manasarovar Lake, the holy lake revered by three major religions, with clear and transparent lake water reflecting the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Then go to Kailash, the sacred mountain known as the "center of the world", feel its solemn and sacred atmosphere. Stay overnight near Kailash (Taqin Town), prepare for the next day's Kora.

Day8-Day9 Kailash Kora (2 Days)

D8: Start the Kailash Kora (outer circle, about 52 kilometers), follow the footsteps of believers, pass through prayer flag squares, monasteries and alpine meadows, enjoy the stunning views of snow-capped mountains and sea of clouds along the way; stay overnight at a supply point on the way (Zhure Monastery area).
D9: Continue the Kora, climb Zhuomala Pass, the most challenging section, and then go down the mountain to finish the pilgrimage. After the Kora, return to Taqin Town to rest and recover physical strength. Note: Those who are not suitable for long-distance hiking can choose to take a vehicle to watch the scenery along the Kora route; strictly abide by local customs and environmental protection requirements during the Kora[4].

Day10 Kailash → Zanda

Drive from Kailash to Zanda County, passing through vast plateau grasslands along the way, and you may encounter wild animals such as Tibetan antelopes and yaks. Enjoy the primitive and boundless plateau scenery, and arrive in Zanda in the evening to check in.

Day11 Zanda Earth Forest → Guge Dynasty Ruins

Morning: Visit Zanda Earth Forest, a magical natural landscape formed by millions of years of wind and water erosion, with thousands of ravines and earth pillars like an ancient castle group, known as "earth cracks".

Day14-Day15 Shigatse → Lhasa · Departure
