Itinerary:

Day1: Arrive Changsha, transfer to Zhangjiajie Land in Changsha. Take private coach to Zhangjiajie. Brief orientation session about Xiangxi geography and ethnic groups. Overnight Zhangjiajie.

Day2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park & Geology Field Work Full day in Wulingyuan. Explore Golden Whip Brook and Yuanjiajie. English guide leads geological observation and field note task. Evening sharing about mountain ecosystem.

Day3: Tianmen Mountain & Grand Canyon Glass Bridge Morning: Tianmen Mountain cable car, glass skywalk and Tianmen Cave. Discuss natural arch formation. Afternoon: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, walk the glass bridge. Study bridge engineering and safety design.

Day4: Travel to Furong Town, Tujia village exploration Coach to Furong Town. Visit the famous waterfall cliffside village. Walk stone streets, visit old Tujia stilt houses. Listen to local guides explain the history of this ancient trade town. Taste local Tujia snacks. Overnight Furong Town.

Day5: Furong Town to Fenghuang Ancient Town Travel to Fenghuang. Check in. Walk along Tuojiang River. Visit Shen Congwen Memorial Hall, study how local landscape inspired Chinese literature. Students sketch ancient architecture.

Day6: Miao & Tujia cultural immersion day Home visit with local Miao family. Learn Miao silver handicraft, try traditional ethnic costumes. Watch folk singing and dance performance. Group discussion on cultural preservation in tourism development.
