Itinerary:

Day1: Arrive Changsha, city orientation Arrive Changsha airport, hotel check-in. Evening city walk along Xiangjiang river, brief intro to Hunan province geography.

Day2: Yuelu Mountain, Yuelu Academy & Hunan University Morning: Visit Yuelu Academy, learn ancient Chinese education philosophy. Walk Yuelu Mountain trails. Afternoon: Campus tour of Hunan University, meet university students for cross-cultural conversation.

Day3: Hunan Museum + Food culture workshop Explore Hunan Museum to view Chu Dynasty cultural relics. Afternoon food science workshop, learn about local crops and chili planting. Taste local snacks.

Day4: Changsha to Zhangjiajie Private coach transfer to Zhangjiajie. Evening briefing for the coming nature field study.

Day5: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Yuanjiajie & Tianzi Mountain Full day in Wulingyuan geopark. Field observation of quartz sandstone peaks. Students collect data for their STEAM project.

Day6: Golden Whip Brook ecology survey + Geopark Museum Morning hike Golden Whip Brook for biodiversity survey. Afternoon museum session, deepen understanding of landform evolution.

Day7: Tianmen Mountain & Eco-tourism case study Explore Tianmen Mountain. Discussion on balancing tourism development and environmental protection. Students start to work on group STEAM presentation.

Day8: Return to Changsha, final presentation & departure Morning: Group project presentation about sustainable tourism. Transfer to Changsha airport for departure.
