Tang Dynasty Hanfu Immersion & Jizhou Pool Royal Palace Experience
Luoyang was the eastern capital of the Tang Dynasty, the glorious "Divine Capital". This immersive cultural activity lets international visitors step into the prosperity of the Tang Empire through traditional costume and royal palace sightseeing.
First, every participant gets professional Hanfu costume, hair styling and Tang-style makeup by local stylists. Then the group wanders through Jiuzhou Pool, the well-preserved imperial royal garden built by Emperor Yang of Sui and expanded in the Tang Dynasty. Our bilingual host leads a role-playing game: students take roles as Tang princes, scholars and envoys, completing traditional Chinese ritual tasks such as archery, calligraphy and ancient rites in the imperial courtyard. After sunset, the group enjoys the magnificent night lighting of the imperial palaces, taking group photos in Tang costumes beside lake waters and ancient pavilions. We also add a short lesson on Tang Dynasty clothing culture, etiquette and royal life.
