It's a guided participation in traditional ceremonies - most often the scholar's initiation (bai shi), a respectful ceremony honouring teachers and learning, or a simplified rite at a Confucius temple. You'll learn the proper gestures, clothing and meaning, and take part rather than just watch. Many guests describe it as unexpectedly moving.
Yes - traditional hanfu robes are provided for the session, fitted and styled for you. You'll be photographed in the courtyard or temple setting, and we can arrange a full hanfu photoshoot day in cities like Xi'an or Beijing if you'd like more time.
The experiences are cultural and historical, not religious worship. They focus on etiquette, philosophy and tradition, and you always participate at the level you're comfortable with - observing is welcome too.
